If you, like me, love socks and especially are into the scent of them – the internet unfortunately hasn’t worked out a way yet for the transmission of smell. Also the same with taste. However there are ways around that in the form of meets, and there are marketplaces for used gear and malethingsworn has a whole host of used gear (and additional extracts) for people who love the kink of getting something they fantasise about from somebody.
I came across (phnarr phnarr) this site when a guy I was intently watching on CAM4 had a link to it on his profile.
The system itself allows sellers to list up the things they’d be willing to use and sell, or items they already have and sell them. Unlike EBAY where you bid and the winner takes all, the items are advertised at the cost the buyer wants but when you click on it to say that you want the item, it then allows you to have a discussion first with the buyer regarding your interests before the buyer then registers and starts the sale process. This means that the purchaser is at least making sure they are getting what they are after. It also allows the seller to customise the product to your specifications too
The system allows a seller to set up a pretty nice profile on the site describing themselves too, which is just what you want if you are buying gear from someone and want to know about the history of not only the item, but who has been wearing it and stinking it up for you.
Ive purchased a pair of used socks and will update the post according to how the hole thing goes.
Update : 02/06/24 – Ive received my first pair of used socks from Atlas_07 after he sent them on Thursday, It felt weird to receive a parcel on a Sunday but theyve come via Evri so I suppose Im lucky they didnt turn up in October.
Tbh I could have done with them Friday night after plans I had went to the dogs and I had an evening to enjoy them! Unfortunately they will have to wait until I want a pair of sweaty socks to enjoy in my face, but given work and family commitments that’s going to be at least 2 weeks away…
Update 2: Well i opened the bag, and unfortunately what was inside was too rank for me. I really prefer sweaty and a few days worn, but these were FILTHY and i really dont like the idea of the socks being put through mud/filth without knowing what exactly it is, so unfortunately the pics of the socks shown were more to my taste than those that arrived. I probably didnt specify any requirements because i went off the pictures as reference but I suppose this shows the risk you take in any transaction like this – would be the same on any other site.
